Figured I’d use the launch of the new Beasts of War to start my own project log, particularly as the new site allows me to upload images from apple mobile devices. So, lets start out by adding many of the images from my previous miniatures.

My primary and favorite K47 force is my USMC. To start with, here’s my two man sniper team. Nothing particularly “Weird World War” about these guys. However, I did, like many of my weapon teams, base them together on a single base. I like creating little diaramas for these teams, and it also makes it easier to keep track of the two figures.

Now trying posting ting from my phone to see how well that works.

The fig below was one of the first I painted for K47, and is one of my favorites to this day. It’s a Jackal light jump walker. Only minor conversions done, but I think they turned out really well.

the USMC icon on the chest is sculpted with green stuff, and the anchor was made through a combination of plasticard, greenstuff, and jewelers chain.

Last one for today. To date, this is my favorite K47 model.Kodiak AA walker. Lots of conversion work on this one. The crewman, spotlight, sandbags, and radar dish were all added bits. The radar array was built from plasticard bitz. Another addition was the front window, converted to look like a WW2 bomber nose.

All of these were added because, as an AA walker, I thought this thing couldn’t operate like a buttoned up tank. It would need to be able to spot incoming aircraft, and then visually see them to target them.

The painted window was done using techniques from a Team Yankee helicopter window painting guide from Battlefront.

Thanks @bigdave, I added those details to try and add a contrasting color to the fig. Everything was warm greens and tans, and it needed a stark, cold color to contrast.

I did the same for the Konflikt walker.
